It had been really windy all day but by the time I got on the water(5.30) it was dropping.There was also too much north in it for ideal offshore conditions.The 8.5 is the biggest I can rig until I pick up my new big boom at the weekend(ebay is a wonderful thing) It was abit slow going out but using the dagger board and the swell coming in was really good fun!!! So nearly an hour and a half in the sunshine not a bad way to spend the evening!!!!

ps - I nearly forgot about a half mile out on my first run I fell on the boom while tacking and landed full on my nose !!!! blood everywhere and I thought I had broke it.Luckily the nose is okay and has'nt ruined my stunning good looks !!!! (just joking)
